If you
are thinking it is time for a makeover, hair extensions would be a great way to do just that. Hair extensions can
make you look and feel fabulous. But
when you want to buy a human hair extensions, there are many questions to get
and as the beginners who want to use the human hair, but not the synthetic hair
can be so confused what kinds of human hair for you, what virgin hair is, what
remy hair and non-remy hair are, what advantage and disadvantage between them…To
get you know more about hair extensions, I make some information for you to
definite them.
1.
Virgin Hair
Virgin hair extensions are 100% real human hair that has never been altered by a
chemical process like dyes,
perms, bleaches, or harsh washes. Human remy hair extension means that it is collected from virgin hair
donors. They are never chemically treated, and comes from hair donors with long
healthy hair. Virgin hair is the highest quality human hair available on the market.
Virgin hair is fragile and should be
processed differently than other hair extensions to keep the hair healthy and
soft like it was while being collected.
This hair is
expensive, yet it does last for a longer time than remy hair, making it worth
the investment.
2. Remy Hair
Remy Hair extensions are the most popular human
hair extensions on the market due to the quality and price. Remy hair is a high
quality hair that lasts up to a year and blends very well with your own hair. The
remy hair means that all the cuticles are intact, running in the same direction.
Remy hair is gathered from the head of donors/producers in such a way as to
keep the hair’s cuticles properly aligned in relation to its neighboring hairs.
When all hair strands follow the same direction there will be almost no
tangling and matting. With true high quality remy hair, the hair collected is
healthy, the cuticles intact and all cuticles flow in the same direction from
root to the tip. So although all
Remy hair is Virgin hair, not all Virgin hair is Remy hair.
As you guessed, there are many qualities of
remy hair and what determines your experience with remy hair is how the hair is
when manufactured. Remy hair can be from Asia: Vietnam hair , China,...,India, Brazin,
etc - where it comes from really doesn't matter as long as it's ethically
sourced.
The
remy hair extensions can be Single Drawn Hair that have the short hairs inside
or the double drawn hair that means hair is 100% one length, full ends and no
short hairs inside. And they are true remy hair processed properly and the true
remy hair will not tangle
often, look natural, smooth, and will blend well with your own hair. And there
will be many types of remy hair extensions for you to consider.
For example, our remy hair extension can be provided with
free of lice and nits, and remy hair length: 6’’, 8’’, 10’’, 12”, 14”, 16”,
18”,…. 32’’, for longer length as custom’s order the hair. The hair extensions
can be dyed or flat ironed, all hairs are in their natural color but client can
add different color or length. And we can make many textures of hair extensions
like the machine weft, the prebond, the closure,….
3.
Non- remy Hair
Non-remy hair is hair that collected
from the floor of temples, salons and random suppliers. With this type of
collection method, cuticle directions become mixed, causing inevitable
shedding, tangling and matting problems.
So hair suppliers will use harsh
chemicals to strip the cuticles completely and then apply a large amount of
silicone coating to make the hair appear soft and silky. The hair initially
feel silky and soft, however, after few washes the silicone coating wears off
and the hair feels very brittle and starts matting and tangling. Also, since
the cuticles are stripped and not intact, the hair extensions are unable to
tolerate color treatment or heat.
So, I hope that you know clearly about
them, and consider the advantage and disadvantage between them to make a good
choice, and the last things that if you really care about your hair your style,
I hope that you don’t want to waste time in synthetic hair and the non-remy
hair.
