How long will the remy hair extensions last? This is a very difficult question to answer, and it is a question that is
frequently asked. Your human hair
extensions will last longer with minimal processing. Using heat styling
tools on any human hair extension (or your natural hair) will damage
the strands. So how to last the remy hair
extension lifespan?
Some of the
hair will break when you wear, brush, or style your remy hair
extensions. Remember these are 100% human hair extensions like our
Vietnamese remy hair and the strands will still break like your own natural
hair. This is normal and all hair will shed/break to some degree. And as you know that we eat food to feed
our bodies with nutrients which eventually makes their way through our system
to feed our skin and hair. We cannot feed hair extensions in the same way so we need to use
alternative methods.
1) Choosing the high quality of remy hair which
is strong, totally human remy hair, and the technology to make various of hair
product like clip
in hair, lace closure, wavy hair,… is good, and not break the nature of the human hair.
2)
Excess washing or coloring will also damage
the hair, just like your own natural hair. You can color, cut, curl, flat iron,
and wash remy human hair extensions, but it must be done with care and with
professional styling products and tools.
3) Use organic and no sulfate shampoo's to
regularly feed, moisturize and treat your hair extensions.
Avoid shampoo and conditioning products which
use Sulfates, Isopropyl Alcohol, Formaldehyde and Propylene Glycol, these are
strong chemicals which will strip the hair of natural oils and leave them dry
and sometimes damaged if used for a prolonged period of time. A little
moisturizing oil (we prefer almond) each week is key.
There
are so many factors to consider: hair quality, products used, climate, water,
how often hair is washed, heating tools, and of course how we individually care
for our hair. Hope that our tips will help you find the way to last your virgin
remy hair extensions lifespan longer.
