Hair Extensions – Synthetic or Human Hair

If you want to feel more confident by having long, thick and shiny hair, your best option is human hair extensions Leicester. There are different application methods for hair extensions but micro ring application is the preference of most people because they can easily be removed from the hair. When you use the micro ring application method, you can be sure that your hair is free from breakage because it does not use any glue, heat or bonding.
Hair extensions can easily transform even the shortest and finest locks into long and luxurious tresses similar to those of celebrities who walk down the red carpet. Hair extensions can be made from human hair or synthetic fibers that can either be applied at home or in a salon. Hair extensions can make a woman look more glamorous but the question is whether to opt for synthetic or natural hair extensions.
Human hair is obtained from different sources in countries that include Vietnamese hair,  Russia, China, Brazil, Peru and Malaysia. When human hair is classified as Remy, it means that there is uniform quality with strands that face the same directions. Remy Human Hair is the highest grade of hair extension because it has not been previously colored or permed. In India, Hindu temples have become an important source of human hair because devotees donate their tresses as part of a religious ritual.
However, human hair extensions are expensive that is why synthetic hair extensions have emerged as an affordable option. Synthetic hair extensions are now widely manufactured and sold in almost all parts of the world. Synthetic hair extensions are usually made from plastic and they come in curled or straight styles. Synthetics require very little maintenance because they are not affected by humidity or rain but they do not look as natural as human hair.
Human hair is still the most popular option for professional stylists because they can easily be dyed and styled based on the customer’s preferences. Human hair extensions can last for at least a year with proper shampooing and conditioning the way you do with your own hair. Human hair extensions can also be blow-dried or curled with a curling iron and it can be subjected to straightening.

HOW TO APPLY AND REMOVE HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS

Hair Extension Installation!

Millions of women like human hair extensions, they use human hair as a solution to add the desired volume, length, color, and style to their hair and avoid coloring and styling damage to their natural hair. However, the first question is that whether or not it is possible to apply and remove hair extensions by themselves, or whether they need professional help for the purpose.

According to some experienced hair stylists, applying and removing hair extensions is not a difficult process and you can do it yourself once you know how to do it. However, this is limited to several hair extension styles. This is some tips how to apply and remove hair extensions by yourself.

Pre-bonded Extensions

Installation

Because, pre-bonded extensions use keratin glue to attach the extensions to your natural hair, installing and removing the extensions may seem a little trickier. Fortunately, it is not. Here is how to install and remove them from your hair:
1. Divide your hair in sections and keep your fusion tool ready.
2. Pin the hair sections, leaving the bottom section open.
3. Grab the hair section you wish to attach the hair extension to and place the glue tip of the extensions at the underside of the hair. Ensure you do this at a distance of about half an inch from the scalp using your forefinger and thumb.
4. Place the fusion tool against the hair strands and the glue tip of the extension and let the heat melt the glue
5. Concentrate on the glue melting sound. Once you this sound disappear, remove the heating tool and roll your hair together with the help of your thumb and index finger.
6. Repeat the process with the rest of your hair

Removal

1. Locate the keratin bonds and remember where they are.
2. Put some oil on your finger and slowly rub the bond without exerting any kind of pressure on the hair.
3. Use a wide toothed comb to comb where the keratin holds the hair and extensions together.
4. Apply a keratin glue remover to the bonds and follow with the comb to remove the bond.
5. Once you remove the first bond, move to the next and repeat

Micro-Link Extensions

Installation

As the name suggests, micro-link extensions use small links to attach the extensions to your hair. Unlike your regular glue or clip varieties, this type can be really tricky. As such, try to have a friend help you the first time. You will need the micro links, extension pliers, and a pulling needle to install micro-link extensions. Here’s how:
1. Section your hair and hold the link to insert the pulling needle through it.
2. Use the pulling needle to take a section of your hair and pull these through the link.
3. Insert the extension through the link and follow with the extension pliers, helping you secure the extension with your natural hair.

Removal

Before removing the micro link extensions, you need to know where you placed them because they now have to open the pliers in the other direction. All you have to do is locate the rings, open them slowly, and release your hair, carefully pulling the ink out.

Simple Ways to Keep Moisturized For Skin in the Winter

There's no shortage of moisturizers available in stores that are advertised as panaceas for dry skin. Especially at this time of year, when winter makes your skin more susceptible to itching, flaking and cracking, it can be tempting to load up on those little (but expensive!) bottles and jars that promise special benefits for every part of the body from the feet to the delicate tissue around the eyes.

   1. Natural oils. You'll find bottles of pure, natural oils such as grapeseed, almond and jojoba oil at many health food stores. Usually those bottles are plain and basic-looking, but they don't contain extra chemicals and they offer the same moisturizing benefits as those expensive, fabricated moisturizers. And you're getting a lot more product for that money. Some of them claim to have anti-oxidant and antibacterial properties that can repair your skin's collagen, the same assertion made by some of the high-priced name brands. Whether that's actually true or not is hard to say, but with a $10 or $15 bottle of natural oil, you're spending a lot less to find out. And there's no denying these oils soften your skin, provide a protective barrier against wind and cold weather, and smell nice without any of that mysterious artificial "fragrance" that pops up in so many beauty products.

  2. Olive oil. If you really want to save money or just don't have time to get to the store, you can find a soothing oil right on your kitchen shelf. Olive oil is a great natural moisturizer that can be used to soften your skin or condition your fly-away, winter-ravaged hair. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which can soothe reddened skin and some types of outbreaks and rashes; there have been claims it can protect against skin cancer. We'd still advise using a sunblock or covering your face if you're going skiing or tobogganing.

3Shea butter. You've probably heard a lot about shea butter in recent years. It's been cropping up in body washes, bath soaks, hand lotions, shampoos and other beauty products. Its use for beauty care goes back to ancient Egypt so despite its newfound popularity, it's nothing new at all. It's particularly popular in products for African-American women, which is no accident. Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the shea tree found primarily in Africa where it's long been used to treat dry, sore skin, among other purposes. Shea butter melts at skin temperature so it's easily absorbed, and it contains vitamin A, which is beneficial in repairing parched, cracked skin. Be careful what you buy though. Since it's used as the basis for many beauty products which can also contain a variety of added chemical compounds, you'll want to get as pure a version as possible, or one that only has natural additives such as herbs, and no artificial fragrance or coloring.

 4. Water! Boost the effects of any of these natural skin treatments by making sure that your skin gets enough moisture inside and out. This isn't the time to slack off on drinking plenty of water even though you might not feel as thirsty as you do in the summer. And take care of the dry air in your house by placing pans of water in strategic locations such as heating/air vents and radiators.
